🌸 Embracing My Career Change at 56 — A Season of Alignment, Love, and Living Fully
There comes a moment in life when the whisper to evolve becomes impossible to ignore. For me, that moment arrived at 56. After decades of creating, leading, building businesses, and mentoring others, I realised my next chapter isn’t about striving — it’s about aligning.
I’m stepping into this new season not only as a Health Scientist ready to support leaders and entrepreneurs in thriving from the inside out, but also as a daughter and a devoted human to my two beautiful border collies — Jimmy (5) and Bailey (4) — who remind me daily of presence, play, and unconditional love.
🩵 Time — Our Most Precious Resource
My parents are both 78 now, and I treasure the time I get to spend with each of them. My dad and I share a love for tennis and the Australian bush — simple, grounding pleasures that keep us connected. With Mum, I want to create more experiences together — watching shows, exploring new places, and spending time with my dogs, who she absolutely adores.
Time moves quickly, and none of us can slow it down. But we can choose how we fill it. For me, that choice is clear — I want to create memories that matter, moments that linger, and experiences that feel alive.
🌱 A Career Change Born from Meaning
Returning to further my studies in Health Science and combining it with my work in leadership and entrepreneurship isn’t about starting over. It’s about evolving into a more complete version of myself.
I’ve spent my life helping people build and grow. Now, I want to help them do it in a way that honours their health, energy, and humanity. This next chapter is where experience meets purpose — where science meets soul.
Because when we take care of our biology, we expand our capacity to lead, love, and live fully.
🐾 Living Fully — With the Ones Who Matter Most
Jimmy and Bailey remind me every day to be in the moment — to run, to play, to rest, and to love without conditions. My parents remind me of where I come from and how important it is to stay connected to both roots and relationships.
This next phase of life is not about slowing down; it’s about living more consciously and intentionally. It’s about creating experiences — not just achievements.
🌍 The Privilege of Being Human
I see this season of my life as an extraordinary privilege — to keep learning, to keep contributing, and to keep loving the people (and animals) who make my world whole.
This isn’t just a career change. It’s a recalibration — toward balance, health, and the kind of legacy that’s built not from what we do, but from how deeply we live.
